Located in the north of Haute-Savoie, on the border with Switzerland, Ambilly is an urban commune of 6,200 inhabitants. It is part of the Annemasse Agglomeration and is fully integrated into the space and dynamics of the Greater Geneva. Despite its small surface area (1.25 hectares), which makes it the smallest municipality in the department, it is home to the major development projects of the Geneva region: the Léman Express, the Greenway of Greater Geneva, the Annemasse tramway and the Etoile Annemasse Genève joint development zone.

Access by public transport:
Line 17 of the tramway between Geneva and Annemasse.
Soon, Léman Express in the direction of Geneva, Saint-Gervais, Annecy and Evian-les-Bains with the end of the works of the northern square.
