Archamps

Charming village at the foot of the Salève mountain

Archamps is a French village, located in the department of Haute-Savoie in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Inhabited by the Archampois and Archampoises, it is located at the foot of the Salève mountain at an altitude of 533m and can be a starting point for a hike!
But Archamps is not only a village. The commune is in fact composed of several hamlets!
In addition to being on the border with Switzerland, it extends over 10.7 km².

Archamps is experiencing an increase in its population. Its rise in the hills is linked to its privileged geography (close to Annecy, Lyon, Bellegarde and Chamonix).
Its development has allowed the creation of the ARCHPARC technology park which reinforces the professional attractiveness of the town.

It is surrounded by the communes of Neydens, Collonges-sous-Salève and La Muraz.
