At the foot of the “Salève”.<br/>For 600 years, the Pomier Charterhouse was a place of prayer and meditation. During the last century, turned into a hotel-restaurant, it has welcomed many guests. The renovation of the Pomier Charterhouse, at the start of the 21st century, was conceived to maintain this vocation of reflection and welcome thanks to the refurbishment of this historic site.

Maison du Salève is a lively, friendly place where you can explore the history and heritage of the Salève mountain through exhibitions, workshops, guided tours, discovery trails, lectures, and even birthday parties.<br/>Located in the countryside at Présilly, Maison du Salève offers unusual activities connected to its exhibitions, including guided tours, workshops, lectures and nature trails. Walks suitable for people of all ages start from the Maison, including the ‘In the footsteps of the Carthusians’ discovery trail, the pilgrim route to Santiago da Compostela, and the Chemin des Convers, which takes you to summit of the Salève.

The Maison du Salève’s eco-boutique features local artisans, food producers and writers.

3 Notre Dame de la Paix de Verrières chapel

The small prisoners' chapel built from stone.<br/>During the Second World War, the parish community of Neydens had promised to build a chapel dedicated to the Virgin if all the prisoners from the village returned alive. The grateful prisoners, as well as the members of the community of Neydens built it at the end of the war. The site offers a viewing point over the valley.
