For Christophe Cuzin, painting is above all a matter of architecture, color and light. For the Villa du Parc, he chose to paint the east facade red, with a slight 15-degree slope.
He superimposes his own 1:1 scale plan onto the façade, which becomes both subject and medium for the painting. A "fire engine" red, which attracts the eye, contrasts with the surrounding nature and "envelops us, touches us" in the artist's words.
