A bourgeois residence with a medieval appearance, Montjoux is in fact a recent realization, dating from the 1930s and inspired by an English Gothic construction. The facades are covered with stone from Allinges, a village near Thonon. Some of the decorative elements, such as the stained glass windows in the entrance, are old pieces that have been brought in.
