At an altitude of 1,103 metres at the southern end of the Voirons mountain range, the oratory of Notre-Dame du Pralère was erected in 1877 to ward off hail and storms. Magnificent panoramic views of Lake Geneva, the Jura, Mont Blanc and Chablais massifs.
Location: Lucinges, 8.5 km east of Annemasse on D907 then D183.
Parking: do not enter the village center, but follow the D183 towards Bellevue, then Les Hivernanches, then route des Affamés: parking at the end of the road (near a water reservoir).
Public Transport: Take Bus Line 5 to "Route des Tattes," then a 1.5 to 2-hour uphill hike.
By Car: Drive to the end of Route des Affamés (Lucinges). From the parking lot, it is a 20-minute easy walk.
