Presentation of the stage

This summer, 19 years after its last passage, the Tour de France is back in Annemasse. for the start of stage 14. The city will give the start of stage 14 which will join Morzine. Between the two cities, 152 km of distance but especially 4200 meters of cumulative elevation gain. The professional cyclists will have to mobilize both their climbing and descending talents on this stage with its emblematic passes.

It is unlikely that the runners will enjoy the view of Lake Geneva at the start of the race, as the 4,200 meters of cumulative climb will be on everyone’s mind, especially the climbs to the Ramaz and Joux Plane passes. Everyone is also aware that they will need to be skilled at descending to reach Morzine as a winner.

This summer, the Tour de France will stop in Haute-Savoie.
