In Annemasse, it is from the Bus Station that you can admire the work of Lucky Lucien, Wozdat and Keim, the artists of the group Glitch.
It will have taken them more than 225 hours to paint this 400 square meter fresco. It features a quote from Lao Tzu: “A long journey always begins with a single step” chosen by Annemasse Agglomération because it is particularly relevant to the vocation of this multimodal hub. Various images are intertwined and we find the particular touch of each of its artists. A video was made on the occasion of its creation.

Now take the tunnel to reach the north square of the station at La Rotonde.
Since July 2022, the inhabitants and passers-by of the neighborhood can admire a mural signed by Loraine Motti.
In this city between France and Switzerland and more precisely in this atypical place and passage of the station of Annemasse where people come and go, Loraine Motti wanted to pay tribute through this work to “these translations and displacements, located in front of a rotunda that once received the trains, maintained them and made them go back in another direction like a compass or a compass rose.”

Now set course for the contemporary art center La Villa du Parc. Facing you on the north façade are two letters: ée.
This mural, created by Renée Levi in 2021, functions as a signature and a tribute.
ée is Renée but it is also Aimée (Stitelmann). This woman who is honored because she saved Jewish children during World War II by bringing them across the Franco-Swiss border near Annemasse.
Graphic and colorful, the é and e move forward hand in hand, unfolding their curl and bluish color, strongly asserting the feminine in the public space.

Let’s go to Ambilly!

From Rue du Parc, take Rue du Jura and then Rue de la Fraternité. Here, it’s the wall of the school that has been transformed into a work by Glitch.

The association that promotes artists, especially those steeped in urban art, distills its artistic touch throughout Geneva. And, sometimes in places that we can’t even imagine!”

The frescoes created during “I Am Billy” constitute a real open-air museum with a path of discovery of urban art.

Different buildings and locations were colored in the border city for the 2018 IamBilly festival.
Coordinated by the Glitch association, artists let their imaginations run wild in the form of murals on several walls around the city.
